(Taraweeh Prayer will start on Sunday night March 10th)
1st of Shawwal (Eid Al-Fitr) will be on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024

“اللهم بارك لنا في الأيام المتبقية من شهر شعبان، وبلغنا شهر رمضان هذا العام وأعواماً مديدة، وارزقنا صيامه إيماناً واحتساباً، ولا تحرمنا فضله، واجْعَل لنا نَصيباً مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ تُنْزِلُ فيهِ.
O Allah, bless us in the remaining days of the month of Shaaban, make us reach the month of Ramadan this year and many years to come, grant us to fast in it for Your sake and anticipation of Your rewards, do not deprive us of its bounty, and grant us a share of every good that You send in it.

In shaa Allah, Eid-ul-Adha 1443/2022 will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
The day of Arafah will be on Friday, July 8.
The Eid Prayer will be held at the ETCIC, 12585 Hudson Road S., Afton, MN 55001: Please see road closure and alternate route information below:
There will be three sessions:
Session 1: Takbeerat starts at 6:45 am
Salat starts at 7:00 am
Khutbah ends at 7:30 am
Session 2: Takbeerat starts at 8:15 am
Salat starts at 8:30 am
Khutbah ends at 9:00 am
Session 3: Takbeerat starts at 9:45 am
Salat starts at 10:00 am
Khutbah ends at 10:30 am
Prayers will be held outside under tents. There will be both socially distanced as well as NO socially distanced prayer rows. Community members can then choose between the two options based on their comfort level.
Please, bring your own Prayer mat.
If you are sick or anyone in your household is sick, please avoid coming to the masjid even if your symptoms are not typical of COVID-19.
The ETCIC has relaxed most of its COVID-19 rules:
Starting Friday November 5th, 2021, only one Jumah session is offered:
Khutbah: 1:15 pm – 1:35 pm
Salat: 1:35 pm – 1:45 pm
• These times will remain in effect after the end of daylight saving time.
• No registration is required.
• Wearing a facemask is required.

Eastern Twin Cities Islamic Center (ETCIC) is pleased to announce that it will be offering COVID vaccination at its Afton Islamic Center located at 12585 Hudson Rd S Afton, MN 55001 on Tue April 13th from 9 AM to noon in collaboration with Muslim American Society (MAS) and MN Dept of Health (MDH). A&E Pharmacy in Minneapolis will be administering the vaccination and the single shot J&J Vaccine will be administered.
Vaccination is open to everyone 18+ irrespective of their faith or religious beliefs.

As doses are limited, we encourage you to register yourself and your immediate family members as soon as possible. And please register ONLY if you are certain that you will be coming for vaccination to ensure everyone benefits from it as the vaccines need to be used up once opened.
